Contract Attorney (Trademark/Copyright)

Department: Entertainment Law (ENT)

The Law Offices of Precious Felder, LLC is seeking an experienced Contract Attorney to join our Entertainment Law department, specializing in trademark and copyright law. This role is ideal for a dedicated legal professional with a strong background in intellectual property, particularly in the entertainment industry.

Responsibilities:

• Trademark and Copyright Management: Oversee trademark and copyright registrations, conduct searches, prepare and file applications, and monitor portfolio deadlines.
• Administration: Maintain records for trademark and copyright portfolios, respond to office actions, and coordinate with clients and authorities.
• Litigation Support: Assist with trademark and copyright litigation, including drafting legal pleadings, conducting research, and collaborating with external counsel.
• Legal Advice:Provide counseling on trademark and copyright issues, compliance, and risk management.
• Agreements: Draft and negotiate agreements related to trademarks and copyrights, including licensing, assignment, and enforcement.
• Regulatory Updates: Stay informed about changes in trademark and copyright laws and advise clients accordingly.
• Collaboration: Work effectively with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to deliver comprehensive legal services.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the bar in relevant jurisdiction(s) with good standing
• 2-5 years of experience in trademark and copyright law, including registration, administration, and litigation
• Strong knowledge of trademark and copyright laws, regulations, and procedures
• Excellent legal research and writing skills
• Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly
• Proficiency in legal software and databases for trademark/copyright research and filings
• Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to work independently and collaboratively

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Ability to Commute: Atlanta, GA 30326 (Required)

Ability to Relocate: Atlanta, GA 30326: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Atlanta, GA 30326
