Contract Attorney (Probate & Estate Planning)

The Law Offices of Precious Felder, LLC is looking for a dedicated Contract Attorney to join our Family Law department, focusing on Probate and Estate Planning. This role is perfect for an experienced attorney with a deep understanding of probate law and estate planning, ready to handle complex legal matters with precision and care.

Responsibilities:

• Probate Administration: Manage probate cases, including the preparation and filing of necessary documents, handling court proceedings, and representing clients in probate matters.
• Estate Planning: Draft and review estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, and powers of contract attorney, and provide guidance on estate planning strategies.
• Client Counseling: Offer legal advice to clients on estate planning, asset protection, and probate issues, ensuring they understand their options and obligations.
• Legal Drafting: Prepare legal documents including petitions, motions, and estate planning agreements, and ensure compliance with state and federal laws.
• Case Management: Oversee cases from inception to resolution, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all legal tasks.
• Collaboration: Work closely with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders to deliver effective legal services and address client needs.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the bar in relevant jurisdiction(s) with good standing
• 2-5 years of experience in probate and estate planning law
• Strong knowledge of probate procedures, estate planning strategies, and relevant legal regulations
• Excellent legal research, writing, and drafting skills
• Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively
• Proficiency in legal software and databases related to probate and estate planning
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Ability to Commute: Atlanta, GA 30326 (Required)

Ability to Relocate: Atlanta, GA 30326: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Atlanta, GA 30326
