Department: Family Law Attorney – FAM Legal

We are seeking a skilled Family Law Associate Attorney to join our Family Law (FAM) Legal department. This role involves managing both non-complex and complex domestic cases from inception through resolution, including drafting legal documents, representing clients in court, and developing strategic litigation plans.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct client meetings, including initial consultations
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and court orders for cases involving divorce, child custody, child support, and related issues
• Develop and implement effective litigation strategies tailored to client objectives
• Negotiate settlement agreements and resolve disputes
• Apply Georgia law, including local court rules, state statutes, and rules of evidence
• Manage cases from inception to closure
• Collaborate with and delegate tasks to assigned support staff

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of prior experience in family law litigation
• Familiarity with various legal documents and procedures
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to build rapport with clients and provide empathetic support
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

License/Certification:

• Georgia Bar License (Required)

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Ability to Commute: Atlanta, GA 30326 (Required)

Ability to Relocate: Atlanta, GA 30326: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Atlanta, GA 30326
